WHY me?

Good Morning !

How are you ?
Have you surrendered this day to Jesus Christ ? No matter what comes ?
I know that sounds ‘so radical’, even ‘fanatical’; can’t possibly lead to any good…
Likely, in fact might lead to turning your world upside down…and then another and another.

Jesus asked “What will a man/woman give in exchange for their soul?” Mark 8:36-37 and Matthew 16. It’s a rhetorical question then and now. God clearly has witnessed what extremes men and woman will go to in searching for satisfaction.

Solomon said, “Vanity, Vanity…it’s all Vanity” after experiencing much more of ‘life’ than nearly all of us. Ecclesiastes 1:2 So, what is it that you are exchanging your life for ?
The exchange is taking place.

How worthy is your pursuit ?
Is it in keeping with your God given talents and His purpose ?

Paul said, “I buffet my body so that I might…” I Corinthians 9 It requires focused, intentional discipline and training to accomplish the purposes of God into which He will lead you, if you ask…and keep on asking and obeying. Luke 11:9-13

At this age, I’m finding it still takes buffeting and discipline. Though, I am broadly trained and well experienced, this is no time for coasting. Last month’s operation and physical fallout afterward has driven home again our great need for ‘listening to the Spirit’ and ‘Disciplined Obedience’ ..so that we do not grow weary. Galatians 6:9

These are very good days; incredibly challenging, but filled with God moments. which are wonderfully encouraging. Philippians 4:6-11 Look for and feast on these things…
In the light of God’s Glory and Grace, our pain vanishes quickly.
2 Corinthians 4:17-18

So what of the stewardship of your life ?
