Good Morning !!!

Shortly after I hit my first bottom over 50 years ago, I heard this song: “Give me oil in my lamp, keep me burning… Give me oil in my lamp I pray. Give me oil in my lamp, keep me burning… Keep me burning til the Break of Day.”
It was code; a kind of secretive Christian-eese.

Dear God, don’t let go of me.
Dear God, don’t let my light dim or go out.
Dear God, don’t let this excitement and joy die out. Dear God, burn brightly in me, until Your Return.

Even then, as a young disciple of Jesus, I was being taught that yesterday’s Word alone, yesterday’s experience of the Spirit without replenishment, yesterday’s filling would never be enough for tomorrow’s Adventure…
We need the Fresh Oil of the Holy Spirit, Daily !!! Ephesians 5:18

Yesterday’s Filling, will not get you through the renewed battle.
Sunday’s not far into Tuesday…
So when do you begin preparing for the next day ? I Thessalonians 5:16, Deuteronomy 11:19

Seems that throughout the day and night is to be preparation for tomorrow.
How much of God’s Word and Music that honors Him do you input into your day, evening and night ?
What might you do to change the Atmosphere in your home, your car and your workplace ?

Go for it.
Make the change.
