I Recognize the Humor of Wisemen from the East following a Star to Nazareth and defying a paranoid despot. 👍
But I am broken, stuck and humbled by God’s Call to Likeness in Philippians 2… 💔😌
“Have the same mindful attitude that Christ Jesus had…”
I am broken because God through Paul calls us to More and Less…
More of Him and Less of me.
More humility.
Less fight.
Less than I presently have…
More than the world believes possible…
Read the Beatitudes in Matthew 5:3-12…
He emptied Himself of His Power and Privilege…
He took up a life of servanthood & sacrifice…
He refused to be lord and scorned titles…
His Kingdom is not of this world.
