DAILY DIGG 26Jan2018

Good Morning !!!

Last night on the way home from a Hospice Meeting, I overheard Chuck Swindoll make this quote: “There are 7474 promises in the Bible in 66 books. That’s an average of 113 promises per book.”

How many have you discovered? How many have been placed there for your benefit? Granted not every promise written is there for you personally. Some were given to a specific person at a specific time, but a vast many are there for your benefit.

So, how many have you personally discovered?
How many have you written in the margins of your mind?
How many can you quote from memory? Have you attempted to memorize them?

How much more healthy would our minds be if we had diligently searched for, written down, prominently displayed and memorized the promises God by His Spirit had written for us? As the book of Philippians says…”Finally, (Above All) Think on These Things: Whatsoever is…..” Philippians 4:8f What are we told to think on?

Why might God want us to know His Promises and Think about them?

And a second quote: God is Faithful to Keep His Promises… He does not lie. He is Truth personified.
In His Time, “All Things will work together for the good of those who love God and are the called according to His Purposes”.
Romans 8:28-30 Go ahead, look it up. I’ll wait.

“…for the good of those who love God and who according to His Purposes are being transformed into the Likeness of His Son.”
God’s doing a huge work: Transformation of His Children into the very likeness and character of His Only Begotten Son.

To attempt such an endeavor in itself will change us from the inside out.
Enjoy !!!
